Hi, My name is Malebo and i’m am one of the lucky people to attend the ICT expo 2011. First of all i would like to thank Siyafunda for it’s contribution to the expo. I was so inspired at the expo that i also thought to myself what can i do for my community what can i do to help expand the ICT sector and it came to my attension in order to improve the ICT sector a person first needs to know how to use a computer. The is a community in Soshanguve that i saw could be the perfect target to do such. So i myself have decided to start a project were i’m going to build a centre were i could use my skills to help develop that community. At first i was thinking on making my future students pay but based on my research the people there are really underprevelaged and could not afford to pay thats why most of the people there have finished their matric and now are at home with no money to further their studies most of them didn’t even finish school. So i’m working on opening a centre there were i’ll be teaching people how to use a computer. I don’t have the funds now but i’m working on that now and hope that my project will be up and running by june 2012. I was wondering how Siyafunda can help me out on this mybe in terms of cmputers and other teaching materials. Thank you for your time and would love to hear from you soon.
