Coding and Robotics

This course seeks to provide participants with knowledge regarding Coding, Robotics, 3D printing, but also with teaching methods developing rational thinking, decision making, cooperation, and communication in a cross–cultural environment.

Course Design-

This workshop focuses on the basics to advance coding and robotics, to equip one with tools to use. A coding trainer works with students in a classroom setting, providing instruction and hands-on experiences in coding and robotics.

Outcomes-

  • Planning and teaching coding and robotics lessons and labs
  • Writing assignments, quizzes, and tests
  • Facilitating student learning and overseeing hands-on learning
  • Monitoring student progress through formal and informal activities
  • Staying on top of new robotics technologies and standards
  • Managing coding clubs by enforcing rules and implementing safety procedures

Virtual tools play a powerful role in helping to connect, learn, engage with teammates and are not just about knowing how to use technology. It is about navigating and communicating through different digital platforms. 

Course Design-

This workshop focuses on everything from basic knowledge on how to use a computer and the Internet, virtual platforms to keeping participants safe online, and how to use the most common virtual tools such Microsoft teams, Zoom, Google Drive, etc.

Outcomes-

  • Understand general virtual teams and how-to setup. 
  • Formulate team operations and security considerations strategies. 
  • Implement projects using virtual tools.
  • Apply online safety.
